Discussing his perceptions of Petersham, Massachusetts, and writing at length of progress on his current projects and upcoming plans; indicating that his grandson [Bruce] is still in the hospital at Camp Edwards, "undergoing dental rehabilitation before his final discharge," and plans to go to college soon; complaining of gardening and lawn maintenance and of his probable fate of being "stuck" in Connecticut for the summer.
